Under the direction of winemaker Dana Keeler, the winery entered three respected competitions—Dan Berger’s International Wine & Cider Competition, the Southeast Winemaker Challenge, and the American Wine Society Competition—and brought home honors from each.

Dan Berger’s International Wine & Cider Competition

A globally recognized event judged by winemakers, sommeliers, and restaurateurs.

Silver Coast earned:

• Gold – Calabash White

• Silver – Seyval Blanc

• Bronze – Merlot

Southeast Winemaker Challenge

All four entries medaled, including three golds:

• Gold – Seyval Blanc, Calabash White, Chardonnay

• Silver – Calabash Red

American Wine Society Competition

All six wines entered received medals:

• Silver – Cabernet Sauvignon, Seyval Blanc, Calabash White

• Bronze – Merlot, Chardonnay, Calabash Red
