Maryann Azzato had a very memorable Mother's Day back in 2002 when her husband Dr. Bud surprised her with a half acre lot that became her dream of owning a vineyard.  Maryann was joined by her children and siblings to plant the grapes that would blossom into what is now known as Silver Coast Winery.

Nestled among the pine trees and North Carolina foliage is a well kept secret known as Silver Coast Winery located in Ocean Isle Beach.  Our award winning wines will surely entice your palette and satisfy any wine lovers passion for wine, much like ours.  

 We also invite you to explore our Downtown Southport Tasting & Taproom just steps away from the Cape Fear River.  Enjoy the charm of Historic Southport paired perfectly with Silver Coast Wines & our ever evolving craft beer selection.

“We visited the winery while vacationing in Holden beach.  It was a great way to spend an afternoon.  The staff is super friendly.  There are several nice places to have a glass  after your tasting. . .an outdoor garden area, rocking chairs or a nice art room inside.  We also had an excellent cheese plate with our glasses.  Everything, including the gift shop was extremely fairly priced which was a nice surprise.  We are going to make a stop at Silver Coast a new tradition!"
